"Aamis Movie Review: Anurag Kashyap Presents a Unique Culinary Romance" 🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑 3/5           Bhaskar Hazarika's latest film, Aamis, brought to you by Anurag Kashyap, might seem a bit unconventional for many, but for those with adventurous tastes, it's a delightful treat.         Two years after its debut at the Tribeca Film Festival, Aamis is now available on SonyLIV. If you subscribed for Scam 1992, you still have time to catch this gem.         Set in Guwahati, the movie initially seems like a simple romantic tale. Sumon, a PhD student, and Nirmali, a pediatrician, cross paths in unexpected ways. When Sumon seeks medical help for his friend's overeating mishap, a unique bond forms between them over Sumon's culinary club, where exotic meats are the main course.           As their relationship deepens, reminiscent of The Lunchbox, it becomes clear that Aamis is more than a love story. It subtly reflects on societal repression and the quest for liberation.
